What is Cow Clog?

The cow clog offers a simple, low cost solution to the common problem of lameness and aids the cow back to health and full milk production. Usually, just one claw becomes infected or bruised and this is when the cow clog can help very effectively.

The cow clog works by gluing the clog to the HEALTHY claw. This relieves the pressure on the infected or bruised claw by raising it about one inch off the ground. It takes around two weeks for the clog to wear down, enough time to achieve a speedy and often very dramatic recovery.

The cow clog is an ideal remedy for bruised Claw, Ulcerated Claw and Septic Claw when one claw only requires treatment. The cow clog is NOT suitable for use when BOTH claws are infected or damaged or when there is infection BETWEEN the claws.

The Original Cow Clog

The Original Cow Clog pack consist of adhesive and wooden blocks (clogs). The adhesive has two pre-measured components making mixing simple. Once the adhesive is mixed and applied to the cows claw, the clog is placed into position and the adhesive is moulded into a Boot around the block and cows claw. A chemical reaction takes place hardening the adhesive and securing the wooden block to the cows claw.
